Mexico Pivoting Away From Washington’s Grip

In Mexico City, Washington is accused of sponsoring opposition NGOs such as Mexicans Against Corruption and Impunity (MCCI) through USAID programs and various private foundations, including Ford, Rockefeller, and Soros. The US government has sent nearly $5 million to MCCI since 2018, according to Mexico’s Financial Crimes Unit (UIF). Outgoing President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, also known as AMLO, whose term ends on September 30, 2024, has publicly condemned these actions, stating that his Foreign Ministry has sent a diplomatic notice to the US and that he will write directly to President Joe Biden about it.

Outgoing Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador
and President-elect Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, in the shadow behind him - August 16, 2024.

This accusation is part of a broader pattern of strained relations between the US and Mexico under López Obrador's presidency. Mexico has curtailed military cooperation with the United States, closing its airspace to American military aircrafts and reconnaissance drones. Last year, López Obrador accused the US Department of Defense of spying and vowed to restrict military information after Mexican-related intelligence documents were leaked.

» [...] if a foreign enemy would dare to profane Your ground with their sole, think,
Oh beloved Fatherland!, that Heaven has given a soldier in every son. War, war! with no mercy
[...] «
Mexican National Anthem

The current row is part of a general pivot away from the US, driven by López Obrador and his left-wing populist MORENA political party, which has repeatedly asserted that Mexico will not be subservient to the US.

■  Last year, López Obrador rebuked “irresponsible” calls from some US lawmakers advocating military action against drug cartels. “We are not going to permit any foreign government to intervene in our territory,” he said.
■  López Obrador conditioned helping Biden with his southern border migrant crisis on lifting sanctions from Cuba and Venezuela – both of which are Mexican trading partners.
■  Mexico slashed imports of genetically-modified US corn in favor of boosting local production, sparking a trade dispute.
■  Mexico joined other major Latin American countries in pushing back on efforts by the US and EU to diplomatically isolate President Nicolás Maduro after the Venezuelan president was reelected to a third term in office.
■  Mexico has refused to support NATO’s proxy war in Ukraine and declined to impose economic sanctions on Russia.
■  Trade volume between Russia and Mexico increased by 9.8% in the first four months of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023, amounting to $759.99 million.

while Mexico remains chained by treaties to the sinking dollar-ship.

In the broader geopolitical context, Mexico is increasingly engaging with BRICS+ to diversify its global alliances and reduce reliance on the United States. This strategic shift includes substantial investments in the Mexican economy and strengthening ties with China, which offers significant trade and investment opportunities. Mexico's collaboration with BRICS+ presents huge potentials for growth in technology, energy, and agriculture.

In 2024 IMF and World Bank rank Mexico 14th globally in terms of nominal GDP,  and 9th in terms of PPP.

The US attempts to influence the outcome of Mexican elections through its NGOs have been unsuccessful, and President-elect Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, who received 60% of the vote in the June 2, 2024 elections, is expected to continue López Obrador’s policies. Should Donald Trump win the next US presidential election, the relationship between the two countries could deteriorate further, with heightened conflicts related to trade, migration, weapons- and drug-trafficking, potentially bringing the two nations to the brink of direct military conflict. Balancing the
BRICS+ alliances with existing commitments will be crucial for Mexico's strategic and economic goals.

A Remake of Beavis and Butt-Head | Alexander Dugin

American democracy is like an episode of Beavis and Butt-Head. In the 1990s, the animated cartoon 'Beavis and Butt-Head' directed by Mike Judge was popular in the United States and Russia. Its heroes were two mentally retarded American teenagers, swearing profanely at each other, expressing one absurd thought after another, unable to solve any domestic situation, but despite their complete uselessness and senselessness, somehow coping with life.

» The USA is a crazy teenager with a loaded rifle. «

Whenever a series of idiotic actions brought them to the brink of total disaster, an equally ridiculous accident or a breakdown in the logic of things saved them, giving them another chance. Which they immediately squandered, however. And everything repeated in a circle. Failure after failure, eating worms, completely wrong decisions, breaking all possible logical connections, and in the end watching a heavy metal video in which horned men with guitars stage-managed to eat women or live goats.

What the world saw during the election debate between Trump and Biden was just a fresh episode of Beavis and Butt-Head. And both of them somehow look as if they were drawn from cartoon characters: Trump is a remake of Beavis, Biden is a remake of Butt-Head. Trump even has the exact same hairstyle. And the content of the debate is completely in the spirit of the show. Trump seems an order of magnitude more sane than Biden. Even his most ardent opponents have recognised this. It is telling that this time the Democrats did not flood the media with victory speeches about Joe's crushing victory over the despicable fringe fascist.

Trump dealt a blow to the Kiev Nazi junta: he directly called Zelensky a thief and a crook and confirmed that Ukraine has already lost and that the Russians are about to conquer it.
The only thing left to do wrong is to put Trump on the Ukrainian terrorist website 'Myrotvorets' and start writing songs about how he is an agent of Mordor. This is a crucial moment in the war. It is very important to analyze the further development of the election campaign in the USA. Joe is back in hospital and the Democrats will now do something about it. In essence, Trump in this debate won the election before it began. This much is clear for all to see. Now, anything can be expected.

[...] If such a society and such a culture, such candidates and such voters determine the fate of humanity, then we have to admit that we are finished. It is impossible to think of treating or applying developmental techniques to a clinically ill teenager if he has a nuclear button in his hands. We say that Russia is ruled by God, because otherwise its existence is inexplicable. America has some mystery as well. How is it possible to become the most important world power on such grounds, with such people and with such mental problems? It means that it is ruled by someone more serious and invisible. And it doesn't look like God. Rather, someone else.

» All red lines were breached. The time of proxy wars is over. We are prepared for a world war.
Russia will provide all the enemies of the West with everything they need, including nuclear weapons. «

and on Donald Trump as the potential savior of humankind

China Sells Off Record Amount of Dollar Assets as US Remains World's Bully

China sold off a record $53.3 billion of Treasury and agency bonds in the first quarter of 2024, a move seen as part of Beijing’s drive to diversify from US dollar assets. This comes as gold's share in China's official reserves rose to 4.9% in April, the highest on record.

»
It is a wise decision to diversify away from USD and to hold physical gold in your own country. «
Claudio Grass - May 18, 2024

[...] This comes as Beijing vowed to retaliate against the Biden administration’s tough new levies on a wide array of Chinese-made goods, ranging from semiconductors and solar power cells to electric cars - the latest move in the escalating trade war between China and the US. The PRC’s Commerce Ministry warned that it would "take resolute measures to safeguard its own rights and interests" in response to the US’s 25-100% tariff hikes, accusing Washington of turning economic and trade issues into an instrument of "domestic political considerations." The warning followed the White House accusing China of "non-market policies and practices" resulting in "growing overcapacity and export surges that threaten to significantly harm American workers, businesses and communities."

» And people expect interest rates to decline? «
Martin Armstrong - May 18, 2024

[...] Asked how the latest developments could affect the greenback on the global markets, Claudio Grass, an expert on monetary history, economics and an independent precious metals advisor based out of Switzerland, argued that "it will lead to the collapse of the USD and the current system. It is obvious that the Western civilization is being destroyed by their own corrupted and rotten political system and its rulers. The renewed politically enforced separation of the East and the West will lead to turmoil and chaos."

Iran Claims Property Rights in Antarctica | Navy Commander Shahram Irani

The Antarctic Treaty was signed in 1959 by twelve countries, prohibiting those nations from testing weapons or constructing military bases on the South Polar continent. It entered into force in 1961 and has since been acceded to by many other nations. The total number of parties to the treaty is now 56, agreeing that only scientific investigations can be conducted, with results shared and made freely available. The U.S. and Russia maintain a base of claims, but no new claim or enlargement of an existing claim to territorial sovereignty in Antarctica is permitted while the present treaty is in force.

» We have property rights in Antarctica and they belong to the public. Our plan is to raise the flag there, God willing.
It is not only military work but also scientific work that needs to be carried out. Our scientists are getting ready for a joint operation, encompassing the efforts of all our people and keeping with the guidelines of our leader, God willing. «
Navy Commander Rear Admiral Shahram Irani, September 28, 2023.

That said, the Islamic Republic of Iran has rejected the treaty and recently announced its own claim to Antarctic territory. Navy Commander Rear Admiral Shahram Irani said Tehran has property rights in the South Pole, where it is planning to build a naval base, declaring that the Iranian nation owns Antarctica and will flex its property rights to not only carry out scientific work but also to raise its flag over a new military installation.

Don't Mess with Iran | Seyed Mohammad Marandi

Let's assume that the United States strikes Iran. The United States has bases all across the Persian Gulf. The Iranians will hit out at those bases. And then they will punish those countries that host those bases. What will happen? The price of oil and gas would go through the roof. If they do actually carry out an attack, Iran will respond immediately. Iran has a very powerful missile defense and extremely effective drone capability, and US bases across the region are vulnerable.

The attacks that are taking place in Syria and Iraq show this. But the real reason right now, why the Americans are occupying Iraq and Syria? They say it's to contain Iran and to limit Iran's influence. But in reality, it's about taking away the sovereignty of countries and to strengthen the Israeli regime.

»If the United States attacks Iran, we will see the demise of the American empire
take place much more rapidly than we're seeing right now.«

Therefore, their critical infrastructure, especially their oil and gas facilities, would be fair game. And that would lead to a global crisis. So that is why I don't think the Americans will actually move in that direction. But if they do, the consequences will be very severe. And the United States will definitely not win in such a conflict. It's more likely that the Americans will strike Iraq and Syria again, and they will claim some sort of victory over terrorists and that sort of nonsense, which they usually say. But it will be like in Yemen. They will have very little impact because the resistance to the US occupation, the illegal occupation in Iraq and Syria, is very well hidden. Their assets are underground.

The Americans escalated in Yemen when the Yemeni armed forces and Saudi Arabia blockaded Israeli ports because of the ongoing genocide. Instead of pushing the Israeli regime to end the genocide, the Americans tried to facilitate the genocide by escalating with Yemen. They launched many missiles, wasted a lot of money, but they were incapable of changing the balance of power. Yemen continues to easily strike ships, and the Americans failed again. They made Ansar Allah or what the West likes to call the Houthis very popular across the region and across the world. And they'll only do the same in Iraq and Syria.

The United States, by pursuing a policy of violence, a policy of hegemony, of imposing its hegemony and occupation, is only making things more difficult for itself. The Iraqi parliament passed a law saying that the Americans must leave, but they won't leave. What do they do instead? They keep the oil money in US bank accounts. And whenever the Iraqi government insists that the US must leave, they start putting pressure on Iraq through withholding their own money. And whenever anyone carries out resistance, they go and bomb Iraqi military bases. That is the arrogance that the United States shows towards the Iraqi people, and that is exactly why the people of Iraq and the people of the region are so hostile towards the United States.

» Since when has the United States won a war? Has the United States won in Iraq? Has it won in Afghanistan?
Did it win in Libya or in Syria?  Did it win in the genocide that it supported in Yemen? Did it win in Ukraine?
The United States is only capable of ruining lives and murdering millions. And they don't care. «

The United States has many bases across Syria. The resistance can kill lots of Americans, but at the moment they don't want to escalate. What they're doing is putting pressure on Americans so that they would end the genocide in Gaza. And they want the Americans to leave their country. The United States occupied one third of Syria, they're selling its oil, and they're stealing Syrian grain. They've sanctioned the Syrian people and they're stealing their oil and grain because they want to make the Syrian people suffer as much as possible in the hope that they will rise up and that the Syrian government would collapse. The brutality of the regimes in Washington and Europe, their terrorists and their military is unbelievable. In Gaza we're seeing their genocide right in front of our eyes. Watching people in Syria suffer because of the Americans stealing their oil and wheat is not so easy to put in a picture or in a small video clip. But it's just as destructive, as inhumane and barbaric.

38 million people have been displaced by the United States' post-9/11 wars
in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Yemen, Somalia and the Philippines; 4.5 - 4.7 million have been killed.

All of US calculations across West Asia and North Africa are based upon the interests of the Israeli regime. The people across West Asia, North Africa, and now across the whole world, are disgusted about what they see in Gaza. The Americans and the Europeans destroyed their reputation through their unconditional support for the Israeli regime.

Expelling the US from the United Nations | Shahid Bolsen

America's impunity has to end. It's gone on for way too long. The United States has made a complete, malicious mockery of even the concept of international law, of human rights, of peace, stability and security. It's a country that acts in the world like a serial killer. Everywhere they go, they leave bodies.

The US sabotaging the UN Security Council once again:
US Ambassador Alternate Representative of the US for Special Political Affairs in the United Nations Robert A. Wood vetoing a United Nations Security Council resolution on ceasefire in Gaza, at UN headquarters in New York on December 8, 2023.

Everything they touch, they break. Why the US should be in the United Nations? It's an insult to the whole planet to have America sitting in the UN, much less sitting on the Security Council. The US is the greatest threat to global security and they dominate the Security Council. It's time for the United Nations to invoke Article 6 and expel the US. We all know that the United States has never treated the UN as if they're just a member. The United Nations, as long as the US is in there, is just like a meeting room where all of the countries in the world go to get their orders from the boss. They even make a mockery of the name United Nations because it doesn't matter how united the nations of the world may be. They've been united for the last 50 years on the issue of Palestine and it didn't matter. The US will overrule them every time. The United Nations is just a platform for American exceptionalism and rejectionism.

United Nations Charter, Article 6:
» A Member of the United Nations which has persistently violated the Principles contained in the present Charter
may be expelled from the Organization by the General Assembly upon the recommendation of the Security Council. «

As long as the United Nations allows this and does not invoke Article 6 and expel the United States, every country in the world is just participating in some sort of ritual humiliation and doing nothing but offer tribute to the very country that consistently and insistently does all of the crimes that the UN was created supposedly to prevent from being done. It's like a court where the criminal who's supposed to be on trial sits in the judge's bench. It offends every principle that the United Nations claims to stand for. It's not like they don't have the protocols. They have the protocols and they have the mechanisms to do something about it and to put it to an end. And that's exactly what they need to do and they need to do it now. This is the only way to end this terrible cycle of violence once and for all.

Incomplete statistics showed that from the end of World War II to 2001, among the 248 armed conflicts
that occurred in 153 regions of the world, 201 were initiated by the United States.

The Rest Against The West │ Samuel P. Huntington

In the 21st century the central axis of world events will be conflict between Western and non-Western civilizations, conflict between the West and the Rest. The Rest has three options:

  • Surrender and submission
  • Isolation and protection of sovereignty and values. The costs are very high. Only few pursue this option.
  • Protection and defense of values and sovereign institutions through constant development of economic-military power and through cooperation and alliance with the West's other enemies.

The world is witnessing an asymmetrical confrontation between two opposing sides, which has displayed the peak of brutality as well as desperation on one side and innocence along with heroic resistance on the other side. With a broader look at the years of confrontation and conflict between Global Arrogance and its vassals in West Asia on the one hand, and the Resistance Front and popular forces on the other hand, there remains no doubt that the astonishing work by Hamas and the residents of Gaza in Palestine are the domino effect of successive defeats of the hegemons and global colonialism in the region. «

Ukraine Lost 90% Of It's Army And 480,000+ Soldiers Are Dead

Ukraine's army, hailed by NATO media the 'strongest and most powerful military force in Europe', is collapsing on all fronts. Some 480,000 plus Ukrainian soldiers are now dead, an unknown number wounded, maimed, handicapped, mentally affected. Hundreds of thousands lost fathers, sons, husbands, brothers, friends. The evaporation of Ukraine's economy and finances is about to complete. The moment money from the West stops, the regime in Kiev, the army and the administration will disintegrate. And the regime in Washington remains committed to fight Russia to the last Ukrainian and does not allow the Zelensky regime to surrender nor to end the daily carnage and sacrifice amongst brothers now enemies.

Why?

The US insists that the Zelensky regime has not yet run out of men and women old and young for slaughter
ten years to the day since the US-Zionist Euromaidan Putsch was triggered in Kyiv on November 21, 2013.
Project Ukraine. War-And-Pillage. Who benefits. Who commands the US.

Approximately half of the country's total population of around 40 million in February 2022 had fled their homes or became Russian Federation citizens. Once the war is over, settlements and infrastructure destroyed by artillery shells, battlefields, trenches, font-lines etc. will remain toxic wastelands, unsuitable for settlement, agriculture or any other human activities. 90% of the six million Ukrainian refugees in the West are women and children and may have no reason, no one and nowhere to return to.

Genocide?
Ethnic cleansing?
Why.

Breakup Of European Union And NATO Inevitable | Andrei Martyanov

Immediately after the end of the Special Military Operation, the West will not be able to fight with us. It does not have a trained army, it will not accumulate the required amount of resources, it has no plans for war with Russia. It only has scraps of speculation and guesswork.

Mission accomplished.

These three factors make war with NATO unlikely. It is clear that the United States can push the Europeans to take crazy steps. But on the economic and diplomatic front we have specialists who will try to keep them from doing this. And the New World Order will lead to processes that will lead to a split in the European Union and NATO. If we break through a land corridor to Hungary, then Serbia will be magnetized to this axis. And it can be followed by Slovakia and Romania, where very interesting processes are taking place. Eastern Europe will begin to break away from old Europe, which will be severely depressed due to the economic situation. After all, Europe is defeated not only on the eastern front, but also in the global south (it is not so simple with China).

Consider this: Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Serbia have a combined population of roughly 42 million. This is substantial, it is also a promising market - make your own conclusion. Russia doesn't need love or obedience, Russia is interested in trade with people who still recognize that there are only two genders. Simple as that. Once the land bridge is built, European structure changes dramatically. Old Europe can go and die.

BRICS+ Destroys The US And EU Currency Monopoly | Michael Hudson

There is no way that today’s international debt overhand can be repaid. That is as true for the United States as it is for Global South debtors. The US Treasury owes much more to foreign governments in the form of their holdings of US securities than it can foreseeably repay. It has post-industrialized its own economy, and has committed to spending enormous sums abroad, while its dependency on foreign imports is rising and its prospects for collecting its existing debt claims on deficit countries is looking shaky. The past half-century’s foreign investment has taken the form of privatization of the public domain of debtor countries. This investment has not helped them develop but has merely transferred ownership of their oil and mineral rights, public utilities and other assets. A viable international financial system requires productive investment such as China’s Belt and Road Initiative that can help countries prosper, not asset stripping. Dollar dominance will continue over Europe and other US satellites. Other countries that still need dollar reserves for their trade and investment with the United States can continue as it has. But what will be changed is a new basis for the international economy itself. There will not be a new BRICS currency in the sense of a dollar or euro that could become a medium for trade, investment or international speculation. There will only be a mutual "currency of settlement" of payments imbalances among central banks joining the new system. And that system itself will be based on principles opposite from the financialized neoliberal model being promoted by the Dollar/NATO bloc. That is the real context for the current discussion of BRICS+ economic reform.

President Putin was very clear when he recently talked in Valdai about a single settlement currency: "This definitely deserves our attention. It's a complex issue, and we have to solve it in one way or another." The Western press talks about how much wealth and reserves do the BRICS countries have. Naturally, you count their gold as a large part of their reserves. But where is the gold of the BRICS countries? Much of their gold is not in their own countries. It's in the New York Federal Reserve Bank, it's in the Bank of England and the gold of African countries is in the Bank of France. Right now, this gold is being held hostage. But countries can ask the US, the UK and France to give them back their gold. Germany tried to do that a few years ago and said, "Can't you begin to give us our gold back that was moved to your banks during the last seventy-five years of  US occupation? " And the US said, "Oh I'm sorry, we can't. We've already done something else with your gold. There are legal problems and we are not giving it back to you!" Now, let's say the BRICS countries would ask for their gold and if the United States and England and France will not return it, those countries could take compensation, including all of the foreign investments in their countries. They could do another thing: If, especially the African countries, say, "You've stolen our gold. You cannot expect us to pay our foreign dollar debts if you have come and seized our gold. Give us back our gold. You owe to us. And by the way, we're going to join the Shanghai Cooperation Organization so you can't send your troops in and do what you did in Libya and simply grab it." This is an element of the financial future that nobody in the West has talked about.

Fighting the Civilisation of Dajjal - the Antichrist | Alexander Dugin

The escalation of hostilities between Israel and Palestine undoubtedly unifies the Islamic world. Western conservatives once again invoke the defence of a ‘Judeo-Christian civilisation’ in the face of Muslims – the radical ideology of Hamas gives them a convenient pretext. Yet, a society deeply rooted in atheism, materialism, and the legalisation of various perversions, which has long since  abandoned theology and traditional values, cannot be considered either 'Christian' nor 'Jewish'. There is no such thing as a 'Judeo-Christian' world. This is pure nonsense. In contrast, the Islamic world exists, and its traditions remain strong. The dynamic is not Judeo-Christians versus Muslims; it is Muslims against a satanic culture, against Dajjal - the Antichrist.

» The collective West represents the utmost evil – the civilisation of Dajjal, the Antichrist. «

Biden’s idea to merge the themes of supporting Ukraine with that of Israel underlines this: the West always sides with those who obey its hegemony. Muslims were not enemies of Ukraine or allies of Russia (except the eschatologically awakened Iran and Syria), but now they may be. Russia represents a pole in a multipolar world, and Islam represents a pole in a multipolar world. Both poles stand against the West’s desperate attempts to maintain – even if it risks a world war – unipolarity and global dominance. The Palestinian conflict with Israel was not a civilisational frontline. Now it is. Similarly, the tensions between Russia and Ukraine were regional until the West supported the Nazis in Kiev. This made the war in Ukraine a frontline of a global confrontation between multipolarity and unipolarity.

The scale of this confrontation is expanding. The situation grows increasingly sinister. Billions globally are convinced that the collective West and its allies represent the utmost evil – the civilisation of Dajjal. Democrats, globalists, and neoconservatives are leading humanity straight into the abyss, strictly speaking, this is what demons are supposed to do.
