Antisemitism: The Eternal Wildcard of False Semites | Alberto García Watson
Ah, antisemitism, that magic word which, as if by enchantment, freezes any conversation and turns an awkward debate into a summary trial. Utter it, and the room falls silent, as if someone cast a medieval spell. Who needs arguments, evidence, or history when you wield a term armored by over a century of weary repetition?

Thus, antisemitism doesn’t mean what it sounds like—hatred toward Semitic peoples—but something far more selective: hatred toward one group, excluding all others. Arabs? Left out. Palestinians? Invisible. Ethiopians? Better not mention them. It’s like being sold a ticket to “the concert of all jazz artists”… only to hear a single out-of-tune clarinet.

The word antisemitism is deployed in political speeches, news headlines, and institutional statements like an untouchable wildcard. And every time it’s used, the same thing happens: a deceitful definition is reinforced, erasing millions of legitimate Semites from the map. The irony is too great to ignore:

■ A narrative that claims to defend historical memory twists it to erase entire genealogies.
■ And a term born as a disguise for hatred is now used as a moral weapon to silence any criticism.

So, the next time you hear antisemitism from a politician, journalist, or pundit, ask yourself: What are we really talking about? Hatred of Semites… or a linguistic monopoly that shields a narrative? Because if there’s anything more discriminatory than open hatred, it’s hatred disguised as respectable language. And antisemitism is precisely that—a term that, under the mask of fighting intolerance, perpetuates the greatest historical irony: turning its back on the true Semites.
In short, a semantic error from the 19th century became a 21st-century dogma. That’s why, if the word were used honestly, the greatest act of antisemitism today would be the genocide of the Palestinian people—pure Semites—at the hands of those who monopolize the term for themselves.

There are nine countries known to possess nuclear weapons. Perhaps more do, but nine are confirmed. Most of these countries are in geopolitical or diplomatic conflict with at least one other nuclear power. In the case of the United States and Russia, they are in open conflict—specifically in Ukraine—which is in fact a war between the US and Russia, and an extremely dangerous one.
The world is sick of the US, Zionism, and I$raHell.
We must understand the global scene clearly in order to avoid terrible, potentially catastrophic mistakes. The US seems unable to accept a world in which it is no longer the sole superpower. But that era is over. The future is multipolar. The sooner Washington accepts this, the safer we will all be.
I often refer to the Doomsday Clock created by the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists—a US publication founded in 1947 after the US atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. has consistently advocated for a multipolar world, a peaceful
international order, and respect for sovereignty. These are not just
slogans; they are the foundation for a workable global system in the
21st century. China’s own development since 1980 has shown that economic
progress does not require military aggression. Instead, China has
focused on infrastructure, education, trade, technology, and long-term
planning.
The Belt and Road Initiative, launched over a decade ago, has helped dozens of countries—especially in the Global South—gain access to much-needed infrastructure. Rather than exporting war, China is exporting railways, highways, ports, and power grids. That is a model the world needs. But unfortunately, the United States sees China’s rise not as a positive development, but as a threat.
Washington policymakers talk about “decoupling,” “containment,” and even “strategic rivalry.” They send warships through the Taiwan Strait and arms to Taipei. They push military alliances in the Pacific and increase military budgets, all in the name of “competition.” But what does that competition really mean? If it’s about innovation, education, clean energy, and development—then fine. Let’s compete to build a better world. But if it’s about military encirclement, economic warfare, and ideological confrontation—then we are heading toward disaster.

Once You Learn the Truth About Palestine, You Can't Unlearn It | Macklemore
I started learning about the history of the Israeli occupation, the political ideology of Zionism, and Israeli settlers of the West Bank. I was watching videos coming out of Gaza and crying with friends. I started learning about how colonization, capitalism, and white supremacy are interconnected and essential to each other’s existence, and how they were at the root of the issue. However, for the people of Palestine, that struggle has never ended since 76 years ago.
I
was taking it all in and I was silent. I was scared. I was thinking
about myself. I didn't want to be labeled anti-Semitic. I didn't want to
get canceled and lose my career. I didn't want to lose fans. I didn't want to offend anyone.
But at a certain point, I couldn't believe those voices anymore. My heart had just enough cracks in it that the light of Palestinian resistance struggle and unwavering faith cracked it open. I was experiencing what happens when the internal pain from being silent outweighs the risk of speaking up in moments of injustice.

And once you see it, you can't unsee it. Once you learn the real history, you can unlearn it. Once you get past the media and the White House focusing solely on October 7th, once you begin to look at October 6th, 5th, 4th and the 75 years before of oppression and displacement, that's when the truth opens up.
And once you look under the hood and realize our government officials are bought and paid for by the Israel Lobby, you can't look at our so-called democracy the same way. Once you understand that our tax dollars are funding a genocide that we are watching in real time in the palm of our hands, I believe it is our moral obligation to adamantly protest the atrocities we are witnessing and funding or we are complicit.
