are experiencing a complete nihilistic moral collapse in the West in so
many ways. We have lost sight of what it is to be human. We are
undermining civilization—our civilization and all civilizations—by these

We have to try to find a way of recreating a civilizational structure that provides the moral foundations for how people behave and who they are. They always come, basically, from the old myths and narratives of a civilization. These are the moral stories that create the architecture by which ordinary people steer their lives and live. And when you lose that, you are on a path to utter destruction.

Easter Sunday: Full of I$raHell Massacres in Lebanon | Steve Sweeney
It has been a very bloody Easter Sunday here in Beirut, with a number of massacres reported across the country. IDF strikes on civilians, wiping out whole families, aiming for Christians. Next Sunday is Orthodox Easter; we can expect the same.
Since
the early hours of Sunday morning, fighter jets have been roaring over
the Lebanese capital. Several strikes have hit the southern suburbs—an
area known as Dahieh—which has borne the brunt of Israeli attacks. Thick
plumes of smoke could be seen rising from buildings struck in the air
raids.

They push military alliances in the Pacific and increase military budgets, all in the name of “competition.” But what does that competition really mean? If it’s about innovation, education, clean energy, and development—then fine. Let’s compete to build a better world. But if it’s about military encirclement, economic warfare, and ideological confrontation—then we are heading toward disaster.

Once You Learn the Truth About Palestine, You Can't Unlearn It | Macklemore
I started learning about the history of the Israeli occupation, the political ideology of Zionism, and Israeli settlers of the West Bank. I was watching videos coming out of Gaza and crying with friends. I started learning about how colonization, capitalism, and white supremacy are interconnected and essential to each other’s existence, and how they were at the root of the issue. However, for the people of Palestine, that struggle has never ended since 76 years ago.

was taking it all in and I was silent. I was scared. I was thinking
about myself. I didn't want to be labeled anti-Semitic. I didn't want to
get canceled and lose my career. I didn't want to lose fans. I didn't want to offend anyone.
But at a certain point, I couldn't believe those voices anymore. My heart had just enough cracks in it that the light of Palestinian resistance struggle and unwavering faith cracked it open. I was experiencing what happens when the internal pain from being silent outweighs the risk of speaking up in moments of injustice.
