Astrologers and Scientists | Theodor Landscheidt

Kepler and Galileo did not talk about interdisciplinary research, they lived it. Kepler was not only an astronomer and astrologer, but also a meteorologist, mathematician, harmonist, philosopher, theologian, and mystic. Newton, last but not least in this trinity of creative scientists, wrote much more on alchemy, theology, and metaphysics than on physics and mathematics. In hundreds of nights spent in his unhealthy alchemical laboratory, he searched for the noumenal light, the bearer of life and mind, quite different from the phenomenal light he dealt with in his optics. Kepler, Galileo, and Newton integrated the knowledge of their age. This was a necessary condition for their creativity.

In our days, astrologers and scientists do not live up to their great predecessors who initiated a new age in science. There are few exponents who coalesce astrological views and modern scientific knowledge to create new paradigms. Most scientists do not realize that their findings confirm fundamental astrological ideas, and most astrologers do not see that creative scientists transgress the frontiers of traditional astrological knowledge. In our time, astrology's faculty to integrate diverging fields of knowledge is merely a dormant potentiality. Faint-hearted astrologers timidly defend the old saying "as above, so below" by reducing it to a mere analogy, whereas scientists like the dynamic systems theorist Erich Jantsch and the Nobel Prize recipient Ilya Prigogine boldly claim that there is interdependent coevolution of microcosmic and macrocosmic structures regulated by homologous principles, which go back to common cosmic roots that converge in the cosmic-egg phase of our universe. Even operations research, a rather practical field of knowledge, follows the basic rule that the behavior of any part of a system has some effect on the system as a whole.

The application of such rules, however, is restricted to the narrow limits of human activity in society, technology, and economy. Scientists lack the boldness of astrological imagination that could stimulate a projection of basic insights upon the dimensions of the solar system—the realm of the Sun, Earth, and planets—that induced creative ideas in Kepler, Galileo, and Newton. The result of the experiments suggested by Bell's theorem begs for a new synthesis that integrates fundamental astrological ideas and modern scientific knowledge. Thus, let us try such a new kind of genuine interdisciplinary approach. It will yield intriguing results, which show that the Sun and planets function like an intricate organism regulated by complex feedback loops.

The Sun, which makes the planets revolve around its huge body, is again influenced by the giant planets Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune, which make it revolve around the common center of mass of the solar system. This very irregular motion regulates the Sun's varying activity, which again influences the planets, and so on. This feedback loop will be revealed by deciphering a kind of Rosetta stone of planetary forcing. We shall come to know how the tidal planets Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Jupiter, and the giant planets cooperate in regulating or modulating essential features of the Sun's activity: the former by special effects of tide-generating forces, and the latter via the Sun's oscillations about the center of mass. And Jupiter, this massive planet just below the level of a binary star, is the link between both groups; it is the only planet involved in both functions, thus playing a central role.

Accordingly, special Jupiter configurations prove to be related to variations in the Sun's rotation, the incidence of energetic solar eruptions, geomagnetic storms, variations in the ozone column in the Earth's atmosphere, rainfall, temperature, rises and falls in animal populations, economic cycles, interest rates, stock prices, variations in the gross national product, phases of general instability, and even historical periods of radical change and revolution. In addition, consecutive Jupiter configurations constitute long-term cycles, the harmonics of which point to short-term cycles that appear in various time series of solar-terrestrial events. The most significant harmonics form ratios that reflect consonances and even the major perfect chord in musical harmony. This new precise realization of the Keplerian "music of the spheres" makes it possible to "compose" predictions of the Sun's activity and its terrestrial response.

The 24 Chinese Solar Terms in 2025 │ Winter Begins Today (立冬 - Lì Dōng)

Winter begins on November 7, which is 225° from the Vernal Equinox (0° Aries).
This is what W.D. Gann referred to as a Natural Trading Day. 225° represents 0.618 of the solar year.

A solar term ( 節氣 ) is one of twenty-four periods in the traditional Chinese lunisolar calendar, each corresponding to a specific astronomical event or natural phenomenon. Starting from the spring equinox, these points are spaced 15 degrees, or roughly 15 days, apart along the ecliptic and are used by lunisolar calendars to remain synchronized with the seasons.

Changes in trend often occur every 30° as the Sun moves into the next sign of the zodiac.
30° roughly equals one month, 30 calendar days or 21 trading days.

W.D. Gann knew that the astronomical year begins on March 21st and that this was also a very important seasonal time for financial markets. He used geometrical divisions of the solar year (degrees of solar longitude as well as calendar days) to ascertain turning points. Changes in trend often occur every 30° as the Sun moves into the next sign of the zodiac.

Dates at 45°, 90°, 135°, 180°, 225°, 270°, and 315° solar degrees from the Vernal Equinox (0° Aries) are what Gann called Natural Trading Days, with 225° representing 0.618 of the solar year (November 7). Though 15°, 22.5° and 45° also may coincide with changes in trend, Gann stressed the importance of the cardinal points (90° apart). He also used multiples of 90° and 144°, i.e., 90°, 180°, 270°, etc., and 144°, 288°, 432°, 576°, 720°, etc.

Combining the Chinese Solar Terms and Gann astro-methods for market timing with the following concepts may further increase the probability of accurately pinpointing market turns:

2024 Declinations of the Sun, the Moon & the Planets | Parallels & Extremes

» Every parallel or contra-parallel is very important to the strength of a business chart. «
Kaye Shinker, 2006.

A parallel aspect is formed between two or more planets at the same declination or distance north or south of the ecliptic.
If the planets are both north or both south of the ecliptic, the Parallel Aspect is read as a Conjunction. If they are at the same declination but one is north and the other south of the ecliptic, then the Contra-Parallel Aspect is read as an Opposition. Parallel and contra-parallel aspects are strongest when the orb is small (±1 degree). They magnify other aspects between planets and nodes. The assumption is that extreme declinations - especially lunar ones - are intense energy points, and when reached, some sort of a perceptible short-term effect or reversal would manifest in daily and 4 Hour charts. The nature and magnitude of the effect is related to the market's  position/stage in the daily and weekly market maker cycles.

"Mathematics is the Poetry of Logical Ideas" | M.A. Vukcevic

» Mathematics is the poetry of logical ideas, it is the silent language of reason. «

 2003

Mathematics beautifully captures the essence of abstract thought, where logical structures unfold like verses in a poem, free from the noise of words or sensory distractions. Einstein's original phrasing highlights how pure math distills ideas into their most elegant, impersonal form, unburdened by empirical messiness. Math resonates and communicates truths across cultures and eras through symbols and proofs, relying on deduction rather than rhetoric.

Energy Flow Theory & Financial Markets | Al Larson

As planets orbit the sun, they exert tidal forces upon the gases of the sun. These tidal forces cause swirling motions on the sun, creating sun spots, solar flares, coronal holes, and other energy events. All these effects combine to vary the amount of radiation that leaves the sun. That solar radiation is our sole source of energy. We are subject to every fluctuation in it. Solar radiation travels to the earth in two ways: as direct radiation, such as sunshine and radio waves, and as charged particles carried by the solar wind. This flow of charged particles forms a torrent of energy that blasts earth creating a bow wave and a wake, just as a boat going upstream would do. This bow shockwave forms a magnetopause between the earth and the sun. It interacts with the earth’s electromagnetic field, shaping and adding energy to it. At the poles, charged particles follow the magnetic lines of force into our atmosphere. This creates a charged layer called the ionosphere.

As this solar wind passes earth, it shapes our magnetosphere into a teardrop shaped envelope of trapped charged particles. As solar radiation varies so does the earth’s magnetic field, atmospheric ionization, and temperature. Scientists have tracked down a host of relationships between these events and a variety of earthly phenomena such as weather, climate, crime rates, plant growth rates, frequency of thunder storms, blood Ph levels, psychiatric emergencies, and many others.

As part of this activity the solar wind charges our ionosphere to a voltage of approximately +300,000 volts. This charged layer above the earth represents the positive end of a battery. When you stand on the ground you are standing on the negative end of this battery. This is the earth’s electric field that we all live in. When you stand erect, it places a voltage on the top of your head of about 240 volts. That is the same voltage as used by your oven element. Fortunately for us, this is not a high current power source. Otherwise, we would fry.

We are affected by this field. This voltage causes currents to flow through us as we live on earth. These currents are approximately 2000 times as strong as the biological currents that run our brain, our nervous system, our muscles, and our organs. All of our body’s electro-chemical systems are subject to the fluctuations in these currents. The ionosphere and the charges on it form a very dynamic system. Events such as solar flares can cause rapid and large changes in this voltage. Our biological circuits feel these changes. These changes can affect all our biological processes including our emotional moods. Scientific studies have shown that changes in ionization cause people to feel giddy to gloomy. These moods show up in the markets. It is well accepted that markets move in response to fundamental forces and investor psychology. A major finding of my work is that investor psychology is driven by the physical energy system. Those emotional rallies and declines are controlled by the currents that run through us. We call those currents emotions.

[...] I have related the timing and price level of market turns to these currents. I have exhaustively verified every link in this chain of cause and effect. I have developed a solid mathematical knowledge of how this energy flow controls pattern, price, and time in markets. While it is not possible in a chaotic system to make perfect predictions, I have been able to formulate a computer program called XGO which predicts markets with between 60% and 90% accuracy […] This S&P forecast has been running about 80% accurate over the past two months. It was computed over one year ago, and used no price data! It is simply a computation of the energy coming into the S&P. These forecasts can be made for any market, for any time in the future. This is a unique scientific technology.

Year-End Rally, January Effect, and Trend for the Year Ahead | Jack Gillen

The Sun's position in relation to the stock market can show trends that are more or less active for each year, as the Sun degrees are generally fixed — they fall on about the same date every year. This is why some periods of the year reflect more of a pattern. This means that the Dow Jones Industrial Average will have similar to the same patterns at different sensitive points throughout each year.

New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) Natal Chart.

As an example, Iet’s take the natal chart of the NYSE and the U.S. chart. In the NYSE chart we find Venus, a prominent planet, along with Jupiter, relating to moves of success. The Sun is trine Venus at 5 degrees Taurus with the Sun at 5 degrees Virgo or 5 degrees Capricorn. This would relate to a sensitive point from the transit of the Sun to the NYSE chart.

But in the US chart we have Jupiter at 5 degrees Cancer (the opposition of Cancer is Capricorn) so the transit at 5 degrees Capricorn would affect the market during that orb which would last from 5 degrees through 9 degrees, a 4-degree orb. This orb is in effect around Christmas and has become known as the year-end rally. The percentages are thus strongly in the favor as far as the Dow Jones coming up on the plus side from Christmas Day to New Year's Day. This trend is more or less dominant year after year.

United States of America Natal Chart.

[...] Regarding the trend for the year, January can give a good indication because of the later degree sensitive points (Venus in Taurus, and Mars and Neptune in Virgo). This means that January can indicate what the eleven months ahead are going to be, bearish or bullish. Research reveals the success rate to be about 80 percent.

This does not work when there are crash periods, certain sensitive zones activated in panics and crashes. This will bring some turmoil, as will Saturn going through Capricorn, which also indicates delays. This is very helpful in determining what an individual stock will do, but there are three factors you need to learn in order to determine which stock to start with for the year. In most cases it’s better to buy a stock at the beginning of the year and ride with it because you can get a pretty good indication of the January influence.

Why is the January influence so important? Astrologically speaking, there is the trine aspect related to the year-end rally period. But it’s more than that. We have Venus at 5 degrees Taurus, Mercury at 23 degrees Taurus and the Sun at 27 degrees Taurus, and Mars at 18 degrees Virgo. These points are trine Capricorn. So January is important because there is a grand trine, a configuration that occurs when there arc three planets, each 120 degrees apart.

As the Sun leaves the 5 degree Capricorn point that relates to the short rally it moves on to a trine to the NYSE Mars at 18 degrees, the NYSE Mercury at 23 degrees and NYSE Sun at 27 degrees. So this is why January is important in anything related to the Dow Jones Industrial Average. The trine also occurs in the U.S. chart with Neptune at 24 degrees Virgo and the Part of Fortune at 25 degrees Taurus. But the opposition to planets in Cancer show a turning point: and Capricorn rules government. These influences can be seen from about January 9 through January 18, as the Sun transits the pertinent degrees. If the market shoots up in January, it will be up in December; if it’s low in January, then it's going to be low in December, at year's end.
