S&P 500: Hurst Cycle Projection Through 2026

A 20-Week cycle bottomed November 20, 2025, with the deeper 40-Week/20-Week (possibly 18-month) cycle trough at March 30 (Mon), 2026 and the 80-Day trough at June 26 (Fri); the most recent 20-Day cycle dip was possibly already July 23 (Thu).

A confluence low (20-Day/40-Day/20-Week) is projected for August 7 (Fri)–September 7 (Mon); August 12 (Wed) most likely (tab 1), reinforced by the 80-Day window September 6 (Sun)–29 (Tue).
Last major troughs: 20-Week low November 20, 2025; deeper 40-Week/20-Week (possibly 18-month) cycle low March 30, 2026, a −9.8% correction and the largest of the sequence; 80-Day low June 26 (Fri), confirmed within +10% of nominal on both spectral and trough-spacing checks; most recent 20-Day dip July 23 (Thu).

Forecast: a confluence low across the 20-Day, 40-Day, and 20-Week degrees is projected for August 7 (Fri)–September 7 (Mon), August 12 (Wed) most likely, reinforced by the 80-Day window (September 6–29) shortly after. The 40-Day cycle skipped its expected April/May low and is running long, so its contribution to that window is lower-confidence than the 20-Day/20-Week overlap.
