The exact length of the Lunar Year is 354.37 Calendar Days. The third part of the Lunar Year (120°) is the Intermediate Term Delta Cycle (ITD) of 4 Lunar Months or 118.123 Calendar Days (HERE). The ITD Cycle inverted from the Mar 3, 2015 High to the Jun 29, 2015 Low but is now in sync with the Lunar Year Cycle. That given, the direction of the SPX for the remainder of this week should be sideways-to-up. |

The 100 Year Cycle - Climate, Regime Change & War│Raymond H. Wheeler
In the 1940s, while at the University of Kansas, Professor Raymond Holder Wheeler engaged in an immense project: He summarized all of recorded history. He compiled 2,500 years of records from which he derived many brilliant hypotheses. At one time he employed as many as 200 scientists. He concluded that climate and human history were intimately related. He discovered many related cycles but declared the most important one was the 100 Year Cycle.
» The turning points between old and new civilizations occur when cold-dry times reach their maximum severity. « |
The climate of the earth shifts from warmer to colder periods and back again, frequently in rhythms. Throughout history, there has been a sequence of four seasons on many diverse time periods, including 1,000 Years, 500 Years, 100 Years, 10 Years, 1 Year and likely others. The Earth’s coldest periods were usually followed by excessive warmth. Such was the case when temperatures moved from the Medieval Warm Period between 900 and 1300 A.D. to the sudden ‘Little Ice Age’ which peaked in the 17th Century. Since 2,500 B.C. there have been at least 78 major climate changes worldwide, including two major changes in just the past 40 years. History shows that nations are usually built on shifts from cold periods to warm, when the human energy level temporarily reaches a maximum, while nations crumble on the shift from warm to cold. International wars occur mostly during warm periods, civil wars during cold ones. Each phase, warm and cold, begins wet and ends dry. Cold droughts and centers of civil war epochs generally coincide. A major cold drought and civil war period occurs about every 510 years; generally less severe ones every 170 years (171 Year Neptune-Uranus Cycle). There are also shorter rhythms: The generally warmer period at the beginning of the 20th century ended during World War II. Totalitarianism is typical of late-half warm periods; democracy is revived during cold times.
Raymond H. Wheeler (1943): The Effect of Climate on Human Behavior in History. In: Transactions of the Kansas Academy of Science, Vol. 46. |
Wheeler’s cycle averages 100 years, although it may run as short as seventy years and as long as 120 years. The cycle is divided into four phases, also not precisely equal in duration, but in general, the cycle has a warm and a cold phase, with each of these having a wet and a dry period (18.6 Lunar Nodal Cycle):
(1) The Cold-Dry Period (early 1870s to early 1900s and early 1960s to late 1970s): This is a time of general individualism, with weak governments, migrations, and other mob actions such as race riots. Class struggles and civil wars ranging from palace intrigues to revolutions occur during the general anarchy of the cold-dry period. People are cosmopolitan, borrowing culture and living by superficial and skeptical philosophies. As this phase nears an end and fades into the next phase, leadership emerges and societies become stabilized; new governments develop and nationalistic spirit revives. Wars take the form of expansion and imperialism. In the transition from the cold to the warm era, human energies operate at a high level (just as in the spring of the year). Learning is revived, genius appears, industrial revolutions occur, crops are good, and times are prosperous.
(2) The Warm-Wet Period (early 1900s to early 1920s and late 1970s to late 1990s): This period sees the climax of the trends started in the previous transition, with achievement becoming organized, and the emphasis put on cooperation and integration of views and effort rather than individual accomplishment. Interest in the state rather than the individual develops and governments become more rigid and centralized.
(3) The Warm-Dry Period (early 1920s to mid 1940s and late 1990s to early 2020s): As climate changes from a general warm-wet phase to warm-dry phase, the rigid governments of the previous period become despotic, police states emerge, personal freedom declines, behavior-patterns are introverted. In art, surrealistic, impressionistic and nihilistic patterns develop, and in business, aggressiveness and self-confidence decline with subsequent depressions and the collapse of economic systems. During the transition to the next cold period wars reflect the culmination of the decadence of the previous period and become the cruelest type of struggle with entire populations slaughtered or enslaved. However, as the temperature falls and rainfall increases, activity increases, crops are again good, and general revival begins.
(4) The Cold-Wet Period (mid 1940s to early 1960s and mid 2020s to late 2040s): This phase sees the reemergence of individualistic philosophy, with decentralizing and reorganizing trends in government and business. It is a period of emancipation and natural behavior; art is straightforward and simple; scholarship follows mechanistic lines. These trends continue and grow until they reach a climax of general anarchy during the cold-dry period to follow. In 1949 Wheeler indicated that the US were passing through a cold-wet period and heading for a Cold-Dry Period.
Within these 20-30 year periods or ‘seasons’, there are smaller ‘seasons’ - in the same sequence that account for variations within each bigger ‘season’. Once this 100 Year Cycle is complete, it blends into a larger cycle. We are currently witnessing the conclusion of a 500 Year Cycle and the breakdown of the global 'Western' hegemony - a period similar to the early 16th century in Europe (491 Year Neptune-Pluto Cycle or 3 Neptune-Uranus Cycles). The early 1500s were characterized by technological innovation, population growth and migration, productive and capitalistic expansion, religious secessionism and wars, regime changes and breakdowns, as well as by the emergence of new empires and global players. Today we are obviously in another warm period that started in the mid 1970s and had reached its peak around 2000.

Major Market Peak in August - Bear Market into 2016 | Tom McClellan
Tom McClellan (06/19/2015) - It's a little bit of an exotic indicator but it's probably my favorite because it gives us the answers a year ahead of time. What I'm doing is I'm looking at the commitment of traders report that's published each week by the commodity futures trading commission (CFTC) and they give a report on what all of the futures contracts that they track and who's holding them: either the commercial traders, which is the big money; the non-commercial, which is kind of the hedge funds; and then the non-reportables, which is people with very small positions that are not even worth having reported individually. The commercials are the smart money so when you look at what the commercials are doing as a group in eurodollar futures—that's an interest rate product, not a currency product—that tells you what the stock market is going to do a year later.
The stock market tends to follow those same dance steps almost literally. It got into a little bit of trouble back in 2013 when those traders weren't anticipating the stimulus of QE3 and it didn't work back then but it's generally been working almost perfectly since about 1997 [see chart below]. It correctly forecasted the 2008 decline. It correctly forecasted the bear market in 2002 and 2003. It correctly forecasted most of the big up-move that we've had off the 2009 bottom and now it's telling us we have a top due in early August and a decline into early 2016.

SPX vs Jack Gillen's Sensitive Degrees of the Moon
» The
moon has the greatest control as far as the daily activity on the stock
market. The 28-day cycle of the moon fall in-conjunct, square, or opposition
to the planets passing over the mid-heaven will affect a cycle. As an
example, the 28-day cycle of the moon - you always start from the
new moon - that is when the sun and the moon are in the same sign of the
Zodiac - as that period goes around, say that the new moon is in the
sign of Aquarius, the next new moon will fall into Pisces, and say like
Saturn is in Sagittarius on the mid-heaven, this would represent a bearish
trend on the Dow-Jones Industrial [...] Now every sign of the Zodiac
that the moon goes through has at least two major points where it becomes
very sensitive. This means that when it goes through a certain sign at a
certain degree, that degree will activate a happening that day. It might be a minor upward trend [...] it might move only a few points [...] but something is going to s going to happen. «

SPX vs Jack Gillen's Sensitive Degrees of the Sun
"The sun's position by itself in relation to the stock market can show you trends that are more or less active for each.year, as the sun degrees are generally fixed. They fall on about the same date every year. So this is why some periods of the year would be more of a pattern." Jack Gillen (1979): The Key to Speculation on the New York Stock Exchange. |
SPX vs the Rhythm of the Node
Financial markets correlate with the 4-14 day cycle of the retrograde-stationary-direct motion of the Lunar True Node (North Node). This cycle can be depicted by charting the geocentric longitude and speed of the Node against e.g. the S&P 500 (speed in this context is geocentric motion of degrees longitude per day). About
every 86.5 days a so called Moon Wobble occurs when the Sun is
conjunct, opposite and square (0°, 90°, 180°, 270°) the Lunar Node. The Node
starts wobbling about two weeks before the exact event and remains
instable until about one week after. If coupled with solar and lunar
eclipses, the wobble-effect can be extended. And as the Sun approaches
conjunction and opposition towards the lunar node, it's motion is almost
blocked (bluish shaded areas). This is a potential crash period in financial markets.
The blue dotted diagonal is the longitude of Lunar Mean Node. The blueish verticals indicate the changes in the motion of the Lunar True Node. |
The plane of the lunar orbit precesses in space completing a revolution in 6798.3835 days or 18.612958 years. The Lunar Node enters a new sign of the zodiac (30°) every 1.551 years or every 18.613 months = 1.55 years = 80.9 weeks = 566.53 CD / 8 = 10.12 week cycle = 55 Trading Days |

SPX vs George Bayer's Rule # 32 - Mercury imitates the Sun
MERCURY’S GEOCENTRIC LONGITUDE 126°30’ AFTER THE SUN
Examples:
(1) At the April 1, 2014 (Tue) low in the SPX the Sun's position was at 11°29'41" (11°ARI29'41") longitude; that of Mercury at 349°38'52" (19°PSC38'53"). 11°29'41" + 126°30’ = 137°59'41".
Mercury passed 137°59'41" longitude on August 9, 2014 (Sat); the low in the SPX was on August 7-8 (Thu-Fri).
(2) At the August 7, 2014 (Thu) low in the SPX the Sun's position was at 134°44'23" (14°LEO44'23") longitude; that of Mercury at 133°13'37" (13°LEO13'38"). 134°44'23" + 126°30’ = 261°14'23".
Mercury passed 261°14'23" longitude on November 22, 2014 (Sat), a low in the SPX.
(3) At the September 19, 2014 (Fri) High in the SPX the Sun's position was at 176°17'39" (26°VIR17'40") longitude; that of Mercury at 202°26'57" (22°LIB26'58"). 176°17'39" + 126°30’ = 302°47'39".
Mercury passed 302°47'39" longitude on January 6, 2015 (Tue), a low in the SPX.
(4) At the October 15, 2014 (Wed) Low in the SPX the Sun's position was at 201°52'09" (21°LIB52'09") longitude; that of Mercury at 205°17'27" (25°LIB17'27"). 201°52'09" + 126°30’ = 328°44'48".
Mercury passed 328°44'48" longitude on March 12, 2015 (Thu), a low in the SPX.
(5) At the Feb 2, 2015 (Mon) low in the SPX the Sun's position was at 313°07'13" (13°AQU07'13") longitude; that of Mercury at 306°59'01" (06°AQU59'01"). 313°07'13" + 126°30’ = 79°37'13".
Mercury will pass 79°37'13" longitude on Juli 2, 2015 (Thu).
This rule is one of the strangest I have been able to find. It is very simple, although it entails work to project correctly. We use the geocentric longitude of Sun at any important top or bottom. To this longitude we add each time the value 126°30’. When the addition has been made and the exact place located in the Zodiac, i.e. the degrees and minutes and the right sign belonging to them, we look when Mercury is going to pass this point. Hold fast that day! The movement that developed previously at the Sun’s place will come off in the same direction at the Mercury place. Thus, Mercury imitates the Sun’s effect.
[...] This law I dug out of the Hebrew Talmud. What the Sun does, Mercury does the same 126°30’ later. We only apply this rule from extreme tops and extreme bottoms. The effect is felt only several months later and not a few weeks later.
[...] There is a small matter to discuss yet, at least to draw your attention to. We know that Mercury moves at times retrograde. Should that measurement coming from the Sun reach Mercury at the time it moves retrograde, we have first a place over which it does move direct and only after that does Mercury retrograde and pass over the same Sun projection of 126°30’ and again after it turns direct it must pass the same spot again.

SPX and Grains vs » A Time and Times and Half a Time « | George Bayer
»In Revelations (12:14) as well as in Daniel we find quotations of "A time and times and half a time": "And the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent."
From the September 29, 2014 low to the June 19, 2015 high the Sun moved 261.63 degrees through the zodiac. |
This event tells us that at the time it was winter. The eagle of the Bible always means the zodiacal sign of the Scorpion. The woman in this case represents the Sun, whose home is in the sign of Leo. She flew into the wilderness, her place. The wilderness of the Bible means the sign of Leo. She was nourished in her place for a time and times and half a time, the value of which counts to one hundred and twenty-two and one half. In as much as the biblical circle is not three hundred and sixty degrees in length, but extends to 368° 10' 48’’, therefore the actual beginning of its domain is at 13° 36’ 12’’ of the of the sign of Taurus and the end at 16° 21' 48" in the sign of Virgo. Jupiter and Saturn dominate the other two portions.
Most readers are apt to ask what this has to do with the market. The answer is contained therein and lies in the time factor of the price movements for stocks and for wheat and for other commodities. Even those who have studied Astrology from textbooks must be greatly surprised about the above statement, because no textbook brings anything about it. The textbooks use the circle of 360 degrees which is not the one the prophets used when they predicted events.
Analyzing further we find the unit of “Times and times and half a time” to be 35. 1 time is 35; two times is 70; and half a time is 17½. Adding gives us 122½. 2½ times representing 122° 43’ 36’’ or 1 time equaling 35° 3’ 53’’.
The number 35 (actually 35° 3’ 53’’), the eighth part thereof as well as the multiples of the same constitute the basis for distance movements in stocks and wheat.«

I have spent a lot of time trying to find an appropriate model for Moon cycles (for example, applying Walk Forward Analysis module in Composite module).
This approach looks very promissing; at least it gives stable results (Walk Forward Analysis does not)."
[...] Sometimes cyclical patterns based on the Moon cycle appear (Moon phases, Moon tropical and Moon Draconic cycles), live for some time and then disappear. It looks like the typical time of the existence of this pattern is one year, may be less. It is difficult to say what mechanism lies behind this phenomenon. Maybe some mass psychology patterns appear, make resonance with some Moon cycle, and this resonance gives to this pattern an energy to exist for some period of time." (HERE)

SPX vs MER-JUP Cycle and Planets @ 14 Degrees Cancer
Calculated and charted with Timing Solution. |
Since the days of Ptolemy traditional astrology stresses the importance of a set of specific and simple angular relationships between pairs of planets known as the major planetary aspects (0°, 60°, 90°, 120° and 180°). As astronomical observation techniques and ephemerides improved, more elaborate harmonics and 30°, 45°, 72°, 135°, 144° and 150° angles of separation were considered and applied. More recent astro-financial research clearly showed correlations of aspects from the 9th (multiples of 40°), 24th (multiples of 15°), 48th (multiples of 7.5°) or even from the 768th harmonic (multiples of 0.46875°). Empirical and experimental analysis also reveals the correlation of many seemingly odd angular relationships - especially of the fast moving Mercury to other planets - to changes of different magnitude in financial markets.
